- The FPT
System page is currently under construction, but
here's some information to give you an initial understanding of
how the "System" works and how it eliminates steps
that consume your time and profits. We
have video footage on CD
available that
shows our tools in action. Send us an email if you
would like us to send you a copy.
While simply
initiating the use of our tools will save you time and money,
using the "FPT
System" will further increase your time
and money savings. Here's an example on how you can
eliminate one of the three major steps that you
would normally take to strip a 12' high wall made with 1-1/8"
forms-
Let's say that you stacked and staggered 4'
and 8' forms for this wall. Normally your planking is
set up on both sides of the wall on the upper 8' forms a
few feet below the top of the wall. You'd have
one man on the opposite side of the wall hammering and prying to
break the forms free, while the guy on the other side of the
wall is also prying and hammering to help remove the
forms. They work their way down the wall removing
the 4' forms from in between the 8' forms. Once these
forms have been removed, you would then
normally drop your planking down a few feet and make another
pass so you can start to loosen the upper 8' panels.
Here's where the FPT System saves you
time, increases production and puts more money in your
pocket- First of all, you don't need the guy on the opposite side
of the wall because Form Puller I will make it easy for one guy to
remove the forms by himself, and second of all, because of
the reach of our Form Puller I, you no longer need to make a
second pass along the wall on the planking. Here's why- You
have a crew member take the planking and brackets down as soon as
the 4' forms that were in between the planking brackets have been
removed . Then, while one crew member continues to remove
the remaining 4' panels, you can have another crew member start
to remove the 4' panels that are resting on the
footing. Once they're removed, you'll have 8' panels still
attached to the wall four feet above the footing. Now
take the Form Puller I and loosen the bottom of the 8' forms
while standing on the footing. Once they are loose enough to
get a hold of, put down the tool, grab a hold of the panel, break
it free and lower it down to the footing. You just
eliminated the step of having to set up the brackets and
planking a second time in order to start working on the upper 8'
panels. That eliminates 1/3 of the steps needed to
strip the wall once the latches are released and the ties are
snapped. But, if you consider the fact that the crew
member who would normally be moving the planking for the
second pass can now be removing the lower 4' panels while the
other crew member is finishing removal of the upper 4'
panels, you have significantly decreased the amount of time it
takes to strip the wall. All while eliminating the abuse
that your forms are normally subject to during the stripping
process. It's easy to see how you can significantly decrease
your stripping time and increase the life of your
forms! This system of removing forms works with most other
types of forms as well.
A recap of the benefits
of using our tools and the FPT System-
- The forms are removed
MUCH FASTER
when our tools are used.
- Typical steps are
eliminated when our tools and system are used.
- Your forms stay in
better condition for a significantly longer period of
time.
- You can reduce the
number of crew members needed for stripping, so you'll have more
manpower for other tasks.
- You've made the
stripping process SAFER- spend more time
on the ground while stripping, and less time on planking or
walking on top of walls.
Another important
point-
- The tools pay for
themselves very quickly!
