The Form Puller Tool System consists of durable hand tools and the most effective methods to use them.  While the tools are very effective in helping to remove the forms, implementation of the "FPT System" is the thing that will have the biggest impact on your bottom line.  Because of the reach and capability of the tools on this page, you are able to perform your stripping operation in a different manner, and it's this change in methodology that will allow you to reduce your overall stripping time by up to 50% or more.  That's HUGE!  Go to the "FPT System" page for an example of how you can increase production and profits by implementing the "System" while using our tools.

orm Puller I is designed to aid in the removal of 1-1/8" plywood forms.  This tool allows you to safely strip forms up to 10' high while standing on the footing or sub-grade.  Spend more time on the ground and less time on planking or on top of the wall!

Here's how it works-

The end with the 2" fulcrum is used to remove the first form during the stripping process.  Start by attaching the tool to the highest or lowest stud (if it's an upper stacked form) on the form, use the stud that the latch was hooked to.  When the tool is properly attached, the 2" fulcrum will be pressing against the back of the form next to the one you are trying to remove.  Apply pressure to the far end of the handle.  This action will start to pull the form from in between the forms on each side of it and away from the wall.  Once the form has started to move away from the wall, you can either change the angle of the tool so that the fulcrum is now pressing against the steel bar on the back of the form, or, flip the tool over and use the 3" fulcrum end.  This will allow the tool to pull the form farther away from the wall.  Continue by working your way up or down the form, stud by stud, until the form can be removed by hand.  Once the first form is removed, use the end with the 3" fulcrum to remove the rest of the forms from the wall, (note that you'll now be pressing the 3" fulcrum against the face of the wall).  For your safety, the head at the opposite end from the end that is being used acts as a knuckle guard.  However, we advise that you wear gloves while using this tool.

Our field tests have proven that this tool can decrease the amount of time that it takes to remove a form by up to 75%!  In addition, you'll extend the life of your forms because you no longer need to gouge the sides or pry against the face of them during the removal process.

We recommend buying two of these tools for each crew so that you can strip both sides of the wall at the same time.  You'll also need one of our Form Popper I tools for removing inside corners.  And, if you stack your panels to build tall walls, you'll want to buy our Form Puller II because it allows you to more safely remove elevated forms while standing on planking.  These three tools work together as a system (FPT System) and allow you to maximize your production while extending the life of your forms and increasing the safety of you and your crew.

You'll want to add this tool to your arsenal because it will help you to more quickly and SAFELY remove elevated 1-1/8" plywood forms while standing on planking. Unlike our Form Puller I tool, which you operate by pushing on the handle while facing the wall, this tool is designed so that you can remove elevated forms by pushing on the handle while your back is against the wall.  This keeps you in a much safer position while standing on planking to remove forms.  It is a great compliment to our Form Puller I because it can be used on the upper forms while another crew member is using Form Puller I on the forms that are resting on the footing.  Add a Form Popper I for removing inside corners and you have a trio of tools that will significantly reduce the amount of time it takes to strip a wall, all while extending the life of your forms and increasing the safety of your crew.

T
his 10 pound slide hammer is designed to quickly and easily remove inside corners and the forms to the left of them.  It's also a great utility tool for removing forms that are typically difficult to remove (i.e. forms next to a step in the footing).

Here's how it works-

Use our Form Puller I to remove the forms to the right of the inside corner, then use Form Popper I to remove the form to the left of the inside corner.  Here's how to do it.... The slot in the head of Form Popper I slides over an upper stud on the form to the left of the inside corner.  Once it's attached, you position the slide hammer weight as close to the form as possible, then you slide the weight away from the form.  When the weight hits the stop on the shaft it "pops" the form free from the wall.  If the form doesn't completely come off the wall, move the tool to the next stud down and repeat the process until the form is removed.  Then snap the ties on the left side of the inside corner.  Now attach the Form Popper I to an upper stud on the corner and "pop" the corner off of the wall.  The corner is removed in a few seconds!!   No more hammering and denting your inside corners to get them off the wall!

These slide hammer style tools are designed for removing Gates and other
plywood style concrete forms up to 1-1/8" thick, and can also be used to remove inside corners.  Use Form Popper IV on 8' forms and inside corners because of its long handle and angled head.  Use Form Popper V on 6' and shorter forms, it's a shorter tool with a straight head.  The head simply slides on to the top edge of the form, then all you do is slide the weight on the tool away from the wall until it hits the stop on the shaft of the tool.  The shock created by Form Popper IV & V easily removes the form from the wall, often in just a few pulls.  Best of all, you'll be able to strip your forms while standing on the footing.  No more climbing on top of the wall or working off of a ladder!

Go to the "FPT System" page to learn more about how the "System" works.
